All the information you need about your brain, and how to nourish it, can be found in your design Sun and Earth which is also called your Dependant Design Variable.

I’ll use my own information as a personal example : At the tonal level, I am a 2 which is Taste Cognition and belongs to the Splenic binary. Because my 2nd tone is in the lower trigram (1-3), I have a left-oriented Active brain. When I apply my leftness to my first color Determination, it shows up as Consecutive Appetite Determination. I know that I need to feed my active brain one thing at a time in order to develop my cognitive potential.

If your Determination color is 1, 2, or 3 the ingredient is more important than the setting.

If your Determination color is 4, 5, or 6 the setting is more important than the ingredient.

Each determination gives you a clue about how you’re meant to eat and you can think of the how as more like the cadence or style such as “one thing after another”, “locally”, “seasonally”, or “unrestricted” etc…

There are no steadfast food rules that apply to all of us. We’re not all breakfast people, some of us are meant to eat after dark, there are even those who digest best when they eat on the move. Whether your brain is active or passive will have a lot to do with when, and how frequently you need to eat.

Who will change a menu or meal plan to suit your needs?

Who guilts you for not eating what they want you to?

Who shames you for choices around food?

Who helps you shop for your food?

Who helps you cook or prepare your food?

What do you use food for?

Is it mental stamina?

Is it for physical stamina?

is it to change your appearance?

Is it to change your mood?

Is it to help you cope, or process?

Is it to bond with someone?

Is it to have an experience and make a memory?

is it to immerse yourself in a culture?

is it to preserve tradition?

is it to provide caring or nurturing?

If you live according to your design, you will always be the exception, and never the rule.
